Car sharing is a mode of car rental where people can rent a car for a number of hours or up to a few days.
Commercial car share providers will operate a vehicle out of an allocated parking space known as a car share pod. Users of these services can book the car online, using an app or over the phone and then go to the pod to pick up the car. Once they are done with the car they return it to the pod ready for the next person.
What is car share and how does it work?
