You can find what facilities are available at the parks/reserves, like BBQs or playgrounds.

How to hire Council Parks and Reserves for events

No matter how big or small your event is, please ensure you submit an application form. That way we can ensure the grounds and toilets are clean and maintained and we can also advise you if there is other events on that may disturb yours.

 

Events with under 200 attendees

Customer:

The application will be assessed and the customer will be contacted by the Parks Admin.

Fees and Terms and conditions

All other enquiries related to the hire process 

  • Transfer to Operation Centre, if busy or no answer email operations@cgd.vic.gov.au
    -Customer Name, contact number and email address
    -Reason for call back

Counter: 

  • All forms or documentation received at the counter, to be date stamped and scanned to Records

Events with over 200 attendees

Events with food stalls, music or fireworks or large events of over 200 attendees on Council land in the City of Greater Dandenong require an event permit.

Hire of Councils Sport Pavilions for the Public

All Sports Pavilions within the City of Greater Dandenong are available for public hire (pending availability).

For all enquiries regarding hiring a sporting pavilion for a private event

CSO:

  • First, go to our website to establish the reserve the customer is referring to www.greaterdandenong.vic.gov.a
  • If confirmed Transfer toSports & Recreation Admin, if busy or if no answer email recreation@cgd.vic.gov.au
    -Customer Name, contact number and email address
    -Reason for call back

Jumping castles and inflatables on Council land

The council is committed to ensuring the safety of our community at events. Jumping castles and inflatables are not permitted on Council land.

We do not issue a permit for Jumping castles either.
