The council does not keep or maintain Owners Body Corporation details or contacts. Other councils may, however, we don't.
If customers wish to find out information about their body corporate, direct them to the Consumer Affairs public register, they must have the Owners Body Corporate number first.
Property Revenue can look up owners corporations if they are provided with the owners corporation’s number. They will be able to find out the following information
- If it is a genuine owner’s corporation,
- Provide an applicant with the owner’s corporation details
Real Estate Agents don't have the Body Corporation Number
A customer or applicant can check the front of the property where it should be listed on a small plaque (usually near the letter boxes) or they can contact Consumer Affairs and/or Land Use Victoria who should hold this info
Am I able to provide individual owners details
A customer may be able to obtain ownership details under certain circumstances for Animal, Building, and Fencing purposes.
