Neighours tree overhanging onto customer own property
This issue is a civil matter between neighbours to resolve themselves. Council does not have any jurisdiction over civil matters.
The customer could try to deal with it by:
- Discussing the issue with the tree owner and ask them to cut the tree back to fence line.
- They can advise them of their intention to cut the tree back to fence line and place the cut branches onto the owners land and it is the responsibility of the owners of the tree to dispose of the branches
- Seek Legal advise
Insects/bees and wasps nest on customers own property
Owners are responsible for treating the problem or seeking professional advice.
The council cannot recommend a bee removal company, but they can search for them online or in the local newspaper.
Searching for them on Google will be taken as a recommendation from Council, since you work there.
In the event that something goes wrong, they will state that they received the details from the council.
Due to this, they can check whether a relative or friend can search for a company on Google.
