Duress De-activation Alarm Process

What do I do if I have accidentally pushed the duress alarm

CSO:

If Protection Pacific call about triggered alarm

  • You need to reset the alarm - Instructions
  • Protection Pacific will call council after the police have been notified, to confirm that the duress alarm was not triggered accidentally.

You will need to:

  • State your name
  • Confirm your centre location e.g.: Dandenong Counter
  • Provide voice code is 2178 (if required)

You will then need to deactivate the alarm, using the duress alarm key kept in the safe:

  • Check all alarms, pop out the button that has been pressed in
  • Confirm that the blue strobe light has stopped flashing (blue strobe light only affects Dandenong Customer Service)
  • Notify CS support of alarm activation.
