For reporting any A-Frames obstructing footpaths or suspected of not have a permit

Complete Report

Illegal Footpath Activity > Obstructing Footpath Activity
 

Ask and record in the description of the Report:

  • Details of sign obstruction
  • details of the business advertised

Advertising someone's else business on private land

Regardless of the zone type, Council does not issue permits to advertise someone else's business on private land.

If an advertising sign does comply to this condition, enter a report

  • what type of sign
  • Is it illuminated ?(a permit is always required)

Election Signs and Posters

A Council permit is not required to have an election sign on private land prior to the election. However, you need to bring it down the day after the election.

Report only if the sign is still left up after the election.

Note: A report is required for every different location 

 

Illuminated, Non Illuminated and Visual Message/Speed Signs

For all reporting issues relating to both illuminated and non-illuminated signs as well as Visual Message/Speed signs, including

  • suspected of not having a permit
  • posing a danger to the public
  • advertising another business, not located at signage site
  • Visual Message/Speed Signs are not permitted in council (other than Traffic Management purposes)
