Check who is responsible authority to maintain the sign:
- Go to intramaps to confirm responsible authority or check list of roads owned by VicRoads.
- If VicRoads then customer to contact Phone 13 11 71
- If the problem is over a railway level crossing or railway station carparks then customers to contact metro railway fault line on Phone: 1800 001 050
- If Council owned, report the issue, service lanes are the responsibility of the Council
If Council is responsible for the road, determine if the sign is standard or non standard:
- If not on the list, then report as non -standard sign, Most traffic directional, speed and advisory signs are standard signs
- Check if the sign that is being reported is a standard sign
