Need to contact the Local Law Officer

1. After you have established if the caller requires the 

Counter

CSO: 

  1. First, establish if the customer has an appointment with the officer

If yes,

  • Obtain the customer’s name and details of the appointment
  • Ask the customer to take a seat
  • Contact and advise the staff member their visitor has arrived
  • Advise the customer that the staff member will be there shortly. 

If no appointment has been made

  • Try and contact the Officer, if they answer, ask if they can come and meet the customer.
    If they are not free or don't answer then, email Regserv and cc the Officer as well.
  • Advise the customer that the Officer is not available to meet them and that you have messaged to call them.
