Request for Australian Valuation Property Classification Code (AVPCC)?
What is the Australian Valuation Property Classification Code (AVPCC)?
AVPCC stands for Australian Valuation Property Classification Code. It's a code assigned to a property based on how the land is used.
For example: Code 110: Detached dwelling.
The AVPCC is used to calculate the Fire Services Property Levy, a charge from the Victorian Government.
Is the code printed on the Rates notice?
Yes, you can find your property's AVPCC on your council rates valuation notice. It's usually displayed on the first page, along with your property's land use classification.
Request for Property Boundary lines
A property boundary, also known as a property line, is the legal line that defines the limits of a piece of land.
How to find your property boundary
- Check official documents: Look for your property boundaries in Property Title Deeds, Past Building Surveys.
- Hire a surveyor: A registered surveyor can lay out your property boundaries on a map and set markers on the ground.
Disputes regarding the property boundary line
This is a civil dispute and they need to seek legal advise to resolve.
