Land Information Certificate Enquiries

Section 229 of the Local Government Act states that a person may obtain a land information certificate, which provides information regarding valuation, rates, charges, other monies owing or orders and notices made under the Local Government Act or the Local Law. The certificate may also provide information on the specified flood level (if any).

To obtain a Land Information Certificate the conveyance or solicitor needs to complete the online request via Council portal.

After they have submitted a request, they may call for a follow up. Tranfer to Property Revenue Admin or propertyrevenueadmin@cgd.vic.gov.au 
Customer Service are not permitted to give them updates.
