Replacement permits for Walker Street carpark

Customer Service can replace reprint replacement for the following permits:

  • Walkgen (general)
  • WalkResv (reserved)

Damaged permits

Replacement of permit is free of charge if the damaged permit is provided. If not, follow the process for lost permits, a fee will apply.

CSO: 

  1. Go to 'Property and Rating' and locate permit number via Application Process or permit holders name and then association. If you are unable to locate, contact Parking Permit admin for assistance
  2. Go to the Event List, question: What action is required?
  3. Select Reprint Car Parking Permit 
  4. Print replacement permit on the permit stationery
  5. Dispose of damaged permit

Lost or stolen permits

  • Do not email the statutory declaration to the customer.
  • Advise the customer to present in person at one of our centres to obtain a physical replacement permit.
  • We will provide them with the stat dec at that time. 

CSO: 

  1. Provide stat declaration (*Customer Service Officers have been approved to witness this stat dec. See process below )

  2. A fee is applicable for lost permits
  3. Go to 'Property and Rating' and access the permit via Application Process Enquiry
  4. Access the permit via permit number or permit holders name via saved search

  5. Go to the Event List and select the action, replace permit 
  6. Receipt fee to GL - /FINMDWalker
  7. Complete office box on page 2 of the stat dec and scan to CS Support
  8. Print replacement permit on the permit stationery

Customer Service process to witness statutory declarations

Customer service to witness and sign the following statutory declaration ONLY. 

  • Missing bins
  • Missing parking permits 
  • Missing access card for Walker Street

The criteria for a Customer Service staff member to sign:

  • Permanent employees with 5 or more years of continuous service with a Council. 
    (*If you do not meet the criteria, ask your Centre Supervisor to sign or a staff member in the Call Centre. If none of the people you work with meet the criteria, the customer will need to select another option for who can sign).

Ready to sign?

  1. Field: Declared by: Customer who's named on the stat dec to sign here in front of you.  
  2. CSO: Complete the sections highlighted in yellow.
  3. Important: Date stamp as this then completes the other fields in the form. Make sure you can see the date and centre when you stamp the document

     

      Lost, damaged or faulty Air Keys for Walker Street carpark

      • Follow the process below 

      Faulty or Damaged Air Keys for Walker Street

      Customer: 

      • Must present in person to DCSC for Walker Street carpark to receive a replacement

      Fee:

      We do not charge for a replacement if the permit holder can hand in the Air Key is damaged or faulty 
      If they can't then, a fee will be charged. CSO to go to the lost permit process.

        CSO:

        • Go to 'Property and Rating' and access the permit via Application Process Enquiry
        • Access the permit via permit number or permit holder name and then the association

        • Contact Parking Permit Admin, Bev or Vicki will provide a replacement, and ask the customer to wait a few minutes while this is done. If they cannot wait, they return when they have more time.

        Lost, missing, stolen Air Key Device for Walker Street carpark

        Customer: 

        • Must present in person to DCSC
        • They need to complete stat declaration (*Customer Service Officers have been approved to witness this stat dec. See process below)
        • statutory declaration parking permits 
        • A fee is applicable 

        CSO: 

        1. Go to 'Property and Rating' and access the permit via Application Process Enquiry using the permit number or Name Search and check the association to that person
        2. Receipt fee to GL - /FINMDWalker 
        3. If in-person: Advise the customer to have a seat and wait a few minutes while you organise the replacement
          If over the phone: Advise the customer to come to present to the relevant centre depending on the carpark. This process can be down over the phone.
        4. Contact Parking Permit Admin, Bev or Vicki will provide a replacement AirKey
