Internal Mail Pick - Up and Drop - off Procedure

Dandenong Customer Service Centre and Call Centre 

  • At the service centre, the outgoing mail is placed in the cupboard
  • In the Call Center, the mail is placed in the outgoing mail bag located in the Call Centre.
  • The Supervisor is responsible to to pick up and drop off mail or delegate the task to the D2 position.
  • This is done at 11 am and 3 pm each day

Springvale Community Hub and Parkmore Customer Service Centre

  • Place outgoing and internal mail in the mailbag located in the centre - the area is marked with a sign.
  • Items that do not fit in the regular courier bag e.g boxes and cylinders have to be emailed to zzRecords@cgd.vic.gov.au prior to pickup. 
    This is so the courier is notified of extra items before he leaves for his normal pickup run at the various centre's.
  • The courier will pick up once in the day
