Visitors or calls for the CEO

Counter:

If a customer presents at the counter for an appointment with the CEO:

  • Ask the customer to take a seat.
  • Call Fern Watson (PA to CEO), to advise the visitor has arrived.

Phone:

  • Calls to speak with the CEO, DO NOT TRANSFER the call to the CEO directly.
  • Call Fern Watson (PA to CEO) if no answer or busy , advise the customer that you have to email their details.
  • They will be contacted back shortly.

Visitors or calls for the Mayor and Councillors

Counter:

If a customer presents at the counter for an appointment with the Mayor or Councillor.

  • Ask the customer to take a seat.  Call Jo Thorn (PA to the Mayor and Councillors) to advise the visitor has arrived.

Phone:

If calls to speak with the Mayor or Councillor, call Jo Thorn (PA to Mayor/Councillors), if busy or no answer email her the customer's details.

If the customer insists on speaking to the Mayor/Councillor, their mobile number and email address is advertised on our website. You can transfer or email them directly or provide the number and their direct email to the customer.

Visitors for individual staff members at counters

  1. Obtain the customer’s name and details of the appointment
  2. Ask the customer to take a seat, a staff member will come and get them shortly, do not send them up.
  3. Contact and advise the staff member their visitor has arrived.

Ricoh Contractor visitor (IT repairer)

  1. Ask the customer to take a seat, a staff member will come and get them shortly
  2. Ring ITService desk to advise the Ricoh contractors has arrived at centre

Soft Tissue Massage Appointments

A list of staff members who are attending the soft tissue massage appointment will be provided by Bronwyn Duffus. The list will only apply to the Dandenong Office.

  1. Check that the staff member is on the list
  2. Provide them with a swipe card which is located in the back room where the keys are kept
  3. Write the tag number next to their name on the sheet
  4. They should return the swipe card after their appointment
     

Visitors or calls for the Directors of CGD

Counter:

If a customer presents at the counter for an appointment with a Director. Ask the customer to take a seat.
Call their PA, not sure who that is, go to the Org chart and advise visitor has arrived.

Phone:

Calls to speak with the Director, DO NOT TRANSFER the call to the Director directly.
Call their PA , not sure who that is, go to the Org chart and transfer the call. If no answer or busy, email the details.They will contact the customer.

Cleanaway Daniels Contractors – Sharps Disposal Unit

Process: Cleanaway Daniels – Sharps Disposal Unit

  1. Sharps Containers (Public Area)

    • Sharps containers are located near the public toilets next to Public’s Corner Café.

    • Customers who need to dispose of sharps are directed down the stairs and through the doors near the toilets to the large sharps disposal unit.

  2. Contractor Responsibility

    • The large sharps disposal unit must be emptied by Cleanaway Daniels.

  3. Access to the Unit

    • If the Cleanaway staff member attends the Dandenong counter requesting the key:

      • Contact Gavin Mansfield or the Security Guard, as they hold the key to open the unit.
